Best disability room we have stayed in yet .. a true room built for a wheelchair and bathroom to suit. Even the bed had enough room for my mobile hoist to go under. TV and NETFLIX was a bonus as well as the AC was whisper quiet. Completely enjoyed our stay there and the meals at the Bowls club were well priced and a good size serve. Well done we will be back.

We stayed for one night in a king size room.
Lady on reception was very helpful with a seamless check in.
The room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and all the necessary items needed were available.
The adjoining club provided us with a tasty Chinese meal.

Great new hotel, good for families with the layout of the family room. Separate room with 2 singles and own TV so kids had their own space. Clean and comfortable. Right next to the bowls club.Very upmarket to what is available in Maclean.

A perfect place to stay, the rooms were excellent and the young lady on the front desk a delight to deal with, very pleasant and nothing was a problem. Ease of access to the Bowls Club with a nice Chinese meal was a bonus. would highly recommend the Motel to any one.

We had been driving all day and googled accommodation in MacLean for an overnight stay. This was the most starred listed so we called to see whether there was a vacancy. Yes we have a King room...would that be ok? When we arrived at reception we were greeted warmly by the lady at reception. She said the room allocated was upstairs...was that ok. We were in room 14 one suite away from the stairwell with a store room on the other side. The room had that brand new smell about it...it was large, clean and well appointed. It was also very quiet. Just next door is a Bowls could lub with a chinese restaurant which suited us. We would highly recommend this motel.

Modern motel which is relatively new. Clean and comfortable rooms - just what you need after a tiring day driving. The bed was excellent. Service and check-in fast and efficient. The Chinese dinner at the on-site bowls club was wonderful too. I have no qualms recommending this hotel to travelers.

I chose this motel because it was close to the town centre but not on the main road, and I wasn't disappointed. It was a very pleasant stay, the room was very clean and well presented. It was a very hot weekend, so thankfully the air conditioner was perfect, quiet and effective. I didn't get a chance to visit the club next door, however I will next time.

What a sweet little town! My son and I stayed in a 2 bed room and loved it! After an unpleasant stay in Taree the night before, we couldn’t believe how spacious and lovely this motel was, and it cost the same! The lady at reception was welcoming and helpful. The club across the car park was delicious for dinner.

This is a great place to stay on your drive between Sydney and Brisbane. The motel is new, beds are large and comfortable and linen was good quality. There is a modern bathroom and a laundry at the end of the block. Good air conditioning and natural flow through ventilation left the rooms feeling clean and fresh.
The town was really nice and it is a short drive to Yamba with it's amazing surf beaches.

Rooms were beautifully appointed and styled, generous size, large comfy bed. Brand new building and facilities ! Good value for money. Pub food or club food at the doorstep. Catherine was very welcoming and had a great personality. Some great little purchases and friendly people in the nearby shops.
We would definitely stay again.

Brand new, clean and roomy, and at last a motel room with bright lights so you can see in the room at night. It is attached to the bowling club that has a chinese restaurant (didn’t eat there), and just a short 50 metre stroll to the main street where the Maclean Hotel delivers great meals and to the services club. Staff are great. Thoroughly recommend to stay here and enjoy this gorgeous town.

We stayed here for one night with our two kids on the way to the Gold Coast.
The room was pretty much brand new, everything was very clean. We had a seperate room with 2 single beds for the kids, and they even had their own tv.
Free wifi was great.
Staff friendly and gave us milk on arrival which was great.
We walked across the car park to the club for chinese for dinner which was very convenient.
Can't fault it.

This motel is practically brand new. Tastefully decorated, lovely huge king bed, great linen, towels etc., free wifi. Large room, very quiet although we (room 1) were both close to the restaurant and roadway. Very friendly and helpful at reception. Good car parking spaces. Had a meal at the Chinese restaurant attached to the motel and found their prices very reasonable with large tasty servings. Would definitely stay there again.

We recently stayed at Club Maclean and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area. We were there for a friend’s wedding. They live locally and suggested it. The hotel was only recently built so the room was lovely and the king size bed was very comfortable. Catherine greeted us and she was very friendly and extremely helpful. She even recommended the best place for breakfast and this was within walking distance and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We usually in Maclean stayed at another Motel as we couldn't find anything else that appealed to us. I discovered and booked 2 rooms at this place. It is almost brand new and very well located. The rooms are of good size and furnished tastefully. The bathroom are nice and clean with excellent lighting. The staff is very nice and helpful. As we visit Maclean a couple of times a year we will definitely book in again.
Keep up the good work!

Pleasantly surprised that we could book a room last weekend at short notice in this great motel. It has only been open a few months so all rooms are beautiful & clean, bathrooms are sparkling, beds are comfortable (we had a king room), simple but nicely furnished with plenty of room to move. Our room was upstairs but easy access from the carpark, with a club/restaurant right next door within the same complex. We didn't have time to try the restaurant (Chinese available) but on enquiring they would have done takeaway & had it ready for us to take back to our room. Reception staff were very friendly & accomodating, breakfast boxes were available to purchase which were very convenient. The town is small but has all you need, nothing stays open very late on weekends (8pm for food options is prob the latest), there was a great coffee cafe within a short walk which had a great breakfast. Also within walking distance was a lookout (uphill!) & the river, would definately stay here again & recommend for families & couples for a very comfortable overnight stay. Good for sporting groups also - suited our hockey team perfectly

We stayed at the Club Maclean Motel in April 18.
It is in a very handy location near town. We walked to the "On the Bite" cafe in five minutes for a great breakfast.
Large clean and fresh room. Very quiet area.
Very pleasant and helpful receptionist.

Stopped overnight on the way up the coast with 3 children. 2 bedroom rooms are big and comfortable. 2 x smart Tv's hooked up with Netflix (used own account to login) free and good Wi-Fi, great shower, nice big king bed and friendly service. Could not fault a thing. Will definitely be back when travelling through.

We had a very large group booking and were really well looked after. The rooms are great, perfect location, very close to the main street and shops and amazing staff. The motel is so handy to the Bowls club for meals, drinks at the bar and breakfast. Highly recommended. Looking forward to our next stay at this accommodation.

Newly built so the rooms are modern, fresh and perfectly clean. Located in a great small town just a few minutes drive from the main Highway. Well worth a stop. Beds are very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ive stayed here twice. I cant recommend many motels but I can highly recommend this for a road trip stop over.

I'm always nervous about writing 5 star reviews because it gives the perfect spots away. But there is nothing negative I can say about this brand new hotel in the centre of Maclean.
Very convenient location with a decent sized parking lot for all the rooms. Cafes, taverns and restaurants all within a few minutes walk.
Very friendly welcoming service.
Room has a very comfy firm bedding. Filled with the usual wide selection of coffees and teas. Bonus of a couple packets of biscuits too.
Big shower with great water pressure. Dark blockout curtains that do a great job. Flatscreen modern tv with Free to Air Digital TV.
Wifi included with a data Port too to plug in. (We didn't test this.)
We will be making this our preferred hotel when we visit again.

MAS Country Club MacLean Motel is a brand new complex situated in the heart of MacLean and is owned by the MacLean Lawn Bowls Club, upon your arrival you'll be greeted by the lovely Catherine who will bend over backwards to make your stay a comfortable and stress free experience. After you've settled in to your room which boasts a king size bed with excellent decor you may wish to go next door to the club and enjoy a game of bowls and or a cold bevy or dine at their restaurant which has wonderful Chinese and Australian meals with friendly bar staff and waitresses. MacLean is situated on the Clarence River which is the largest river in N.S.W and is only a five minute stroll from your motel room door. If surfing is your go the famous Angourie Beach and Point are only a few minutes by car and the Yuraygir National Park provides excellent bush walking. No matter what your age or interests are the MAS Country Club MacLean should suit your needs.
