Maclean Bowling Club has provided sport and recreational facilities to the Lower Clarence Valley region since 1929.

In January 2012, Maclean Bowling Club lodged an application with Clarence Valley Council to construct a 27 room motel and managers quarters on the third green (known to all at the Club as the 'top green'). Tenders to build the motel were called in late 2015 and local builder Rojo Constructions were awarded the contract. In March 2017 construction began and the project was completed in eleven months with Club Maclean Motel officially opening for business in February 2018.

Maclean Bowling Club is the town's number one venue for live music, entertainment and events and offers an extensive range of weekly activities including lawn bowls, trivia, bingo, darts, poker and plenty of raffles.

Tse’s Chinese Restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner with daily lunch specials.

The Club’s function facilities include a small meeting room, soundproof conference room, private dining room with bar, main auditorium with stage and dance floor area plus two lawn bowling greens with undercover area and barbecue facilities.
